Yes Stacey and Kay - we are of the same Fall of 2008 generation - my surgery was mid sept. and the chemo started on Halloween.  Then I found No Surrender and I agree wholeheartedly -

Remember how you always told us that our hair would grow back, our lives would resume, and we would get through this.
Those words have brought me through everyday of this.

Beautiful photos ladies. The hair looks great especially on such lovely faces!! Hard to imagine a year has gone by, so happy this past one went by quick and hoping the next 40+ go by slow and wonderfully for us all!! |
