I am doing good. I started rads on Monday and I am going to a local Rad Oncologist close to Winthrop Hospital, so like 7 mins away from me, if that. My surgeon recommended him and I'm happy he did, he's great! I like it because I am treated in an office building as opposed to the hospital and am in and out of there..like in 15 minutes, so I am not complaining. When do you start feeling tired? Today I felt wiped out but I think it's too soon for the rads it could be from all the other emotional stuff I'm going through, who knows? I am going to be looking for a new job now so that is going to take lots of my time. Thing is, don't know what I want. lol so, what else is new? ha ha ha Anyway, so far so good as far as the treatment goes...
Love, Jen
Hey Michele! My onc told me mine would take months to return if at all. So, mine coming back so soon was just me I guess. After it started and feeling happy because I was not going to go into menopause....I quickly remembered how nice it was NOT to have it..gosh, no making me happy these days...lol but, I do believe it's good to keep it because it should happen naturally. Again, with everything we girls went through and continue to go through, what's natural anymore anyways!? Is it good or no good to continue to produce these hormones? I always thought it was good for health reasons (bones, heart, skin, heightened sexuality, less fatigue..etc..) but what's going on in my body, who knows? I can make myself crazy thinking about this stuff. So for now, it's ok, until I find out otherwise. xoxo

Dear Jen, you are so close! I wish I could see you... Yes, you may feel tired right away. UP THE PROTEIN. It truly helps. And most important, if you feel tired, lie down. Let yourself rest.
I was thinking of you this morning.. this song came on Q 104.3 and I said to myself I HAVE to send this to Jen!
