Reply with quote | #23 | I posted in the mets section...
My lung nodule is "more pronounced" and I have "two spots" in my liver,
I guess Abraxane didnt do much for me...I was just wishing that they would only see the spot in my spine...this is really bad news isnt it...as long as it was in my bones only I think there was hope...but now, well, not so much, huh?

I see my regular onc today, I guess to figure out what we are going to do next... |

Reply with quote | #24 | Extra big {Hugs} to you, Lesley! Whatever it is, there are ways to fight it.....I hope you find out a positive plan of action from your oncologist today!
I honestly believe there is hope in every situation. I know that it may not look like it to you right now. Cry, curl up in a ball, yell and scream.....whatever it is that you need to do. Then I hope you can pull up the strength that is inside of you and hit this monster with everything you have......I truly pray for that for you! Please keep posting and talking, Lesley. I'd like to think that it helps in some way to talk about it all.
Will be keeping you in my thoughts! __________________ "There are only two ways to live your life.

Reply with quote | #27 | Hi all,
I am here...havent had a chance to log in much. A few weeks ago, my 5 year old son had what was "probably" the h1n1 flu...now, my 10 yearl old daughter has it....sigh...and DH is sniffling...and I feel like I was run over by a MAC truck, although that might be because i got my chemo yesterday.
I am supposed to have a PET scan in a couple of weeks...I feel achy ALL over...I pray that its not that I have mets everywhere, but rather that I am A) getting OLD (turned 39 ) or B) that chemo is doing its job and kicking the cancer's butt...
I hope everyone is doing well....I am just working on trying to stay sane |

Reply with quote | #28 | (((Lesley)) Sounds like you may have the flu too! I hope you feel better.... try to take it easy- maybe call your doc and ask for some Tamiflu to stop it before it gets worse? Sending you gentle hugs and lots of good vibes! love g
